Jeanne Catanzaro, PhD, is a clinical psychologist who has specialized in treating disordered eating and trauma for over twenty-five years. She trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing®, and eye movement-desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) before discovering the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model. Jeanne is known for her compassionate and intuitive appreciation of the relational dynamics, internal and external, that keep people stuck in corrosive patterns of hyper focusing on or disconnecting from their bodies. An approved IFS consultant and Vice-chair of the IFS Institute, she is dedicated to helping people heal the food and body-related burdens that manifest from and, in turn, perpetuate oppressive cultural legacy burdens.
