Group Consultations

Given my commitment to helping as many people as possible heal their food and body-related burdens, I have shifted out of individual psychotherapy practice to group consultations, workshops, and retreats where people can learn from and facilitate each other’s transformation.

I offer small group consultations (minimum 3 people) to Level 1 participants and graduates. Groups are typically held monthly. I also welcome pre-formed groups who are interested in a time-limited engagement. I am a Certified IFS therapist and an Approved Consultant and participation in my consultation groups can count towards IFS certification.

Food and body-related concerns are key portals to understanding the larger systems that give rise to and continue to mobilize protectors. My small group clinical consultations thus center on helping you become more aware of the cultural legacy burdens that impact how you and your clients relate to food and bodies and how these biases affect your work as an IFS therapist.

Through a combination of didactic teaching, case presentations, role plays, and demos you will have the opportunity to hone your IFS skills. You will be encouraged to embody the IFS model by getting curious about, and speaking for, the parts of yourself that get activated by clients, family systems, treatment teams, and other large systems.
